Walking into an unfamiliar class is never comfortable for anyone at first, so make sure you arrive about 15 to 30 minutes early for your first class. Make sure you drink one to two litres of water before you arrive so you are well hydrated and avoid eating and caffeine at least 3 hours before you start. Remember, everyone was new at some point. There is an unspoken rule that everyone who is there cares about their health and wellbeing, and that is to be respected, so keep it positive!

Don’t worry about knowing unfamiliar moves or that you should do everything perfectly the first time.
