Our teachers are certified and accredited.

This means that you’ll receive precise instructions and dialogue that ensure correct movements and postures. Your Bikram Yoga Teacher will keep your class moving whilst maintaining a quietness of mind, stillness, and the highest level of standards.

What do you hope students will get out of it?
Self realisation. I want every student to discover you can do more than you think. Both in and outside of the yoga room.

If you could pass on 1 piece of advice to the world, what would it be?
Allow yourself to feel the struggle and discomfort. It leads you to self-belief, love and fulfilment!

If you could be anyone for 1 day, who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey. She uses her position as a celebrity and billionaire to teach people about their higher self. The world needs more people like this.

Who inspires you and why?
Eckhart Tolle, author of the “Power of Now” and “A New Earth”. He taught me all I ever have is the present moment, so live in it! I say this in every single class that I teach.

Because it’s challenging. It allows you to see where you aren’t patient, focused, determined, self-controlled, trusting, confident, loving, strong… All of these are required of you during class, you can’t avoid it, so they also develop within you. And the heat of course! The heat heals your body, not just the sequence of the postures.How did it change your life?
I happened to be stuck at a crossroads in my life when I started practicing. I was in a situation where I was living an inauthentic and unhappy life because I was indecisive, afraid and doubted myself. I didn’t realise it at the time but it was my consistent practice that shifted the way I viewed myself and life. It gave me the courage to take the step into the unknown. Practicing Bikram Yoga continues to give me courage no matter how many times I fail.What do you hope students will get out of it?
Stillness in mind and body. With stillness you connect inward. The realisation that everything they need to know is right inside, it’s just waiting to be tapped into. I hope for them to find joy in their lives as well as freedom from who they think they are. To feel great in their bodies, happy, healthy and for their minds to get strong and calm so that they move with ease and confidence in their lives.If you could pass on 1 piece of advice to the world, what would it be?
Be precise with your alignment. It’s a fast-track way of getting even more benefits from your yoga practice as well as your life!If you could be anyone for 1 day, who would it be and why?
I’d be a ballerina on an empty stage with no one watching. It’d be a graceful expression of heart, emotion, creativity and everything I can’t put into words. And hey! Surely it’d benefit my 2nd part Awkward?!?Who inspires you and why?
At the top of the list would be my parents. Mum’s strong will and dad’s quiet courage inspires me. They’re hard working people and continue to show me the value of kindness, devotion and unconditional love.

  • Previously suffered monthly migraines – have had only 2 in the last 4 years!!

How did it change your life?

It gave me the courage and belief in myself to stop chasing the dollars, leave the “rat race” and do something I have always wanted to do – be a teacher! So… last year, 2013 I decided to go to teacher training and I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I have made in my 50 years of life.

I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been and without a doubt absolutely love teaching and practicing Bikram Yoga.

I have formed many genuine friendships with people through this wonderful Bikram Yoga community, many of whom are like my brothers and sisters.

What do you hope students will get out of it?

A sense of self confidence and love for themselves on all levels.

If you could pass on 1 piece of advice to the world, what would it be?

Breathe, be kind to yourself and never give up!

If you could be anyone for 1 day, who would it be and why?

Carol King talented singer/song writer popular in the 1970s. I would love to have the talent to write my own music, sing to it and partake in jam sessions etc.

Who inspires you and why?

The students really inspire me. Their dedication and ability to just keep going never ceases to amaze me. My colleagues/teachers are truly wonderful and unique individuals – always surprising me with their strength, thoughtful and supportive ways and words.

Who inspires you and why?
Teachers and friends, as they foster growth, support, love and compassion in change. The people I work with inspire me in unexpected ways. I am always learning. My family inspire me with their unconditional support. Students continually inspire me, they keep me present and offer reflection.
